In the original data files, provided by the COSMOS network, there are two columns with soil moisture data. In the SOILM column raw data is provided and the SM12H column contains smoothed datasets, using a 12h running mean. Normally only raw data is implemented to the ISMN, but since the raw data in the column SOILM is rather noisy, the smoothed data from the SM12H column was implemented for this network.
