Dear user Eliseoagciorg! Thank you, it is certainly nice to hear that you value our services enough, that you would consider paying for it. Still, we don’t think becoming a paid service is the way to go forward. On one hand we most likely wouldn’t be able to sustain ourselves with fees only, on the other hand we would like…

Dear Yuting, Thank you for your questions, we hope that we answered them to your satisfaction: * If you have a look at the amount of rain 1.5 mm (per square meter per hour) maximum ... it is actually a small rain event. To show you what we mean please have a look at following picture, extracted from the ISMN dataviewer…

However, we can help you out: by telling us the area and the time-period you are interested in, we can get the data and send it to you. The download of the ISMN data is actually functioning. Please give us more information about the problem. Which browser do you use? (The portal was especially optimized for Google Chrome) Which datasets did you try to download? (Time interval and stations) And do you get an error message?

Two papers about the ISMN are listed in point 5 on the Terms and Conditions tab of the ISMN website. These should be added as references, if the results, presented in your paper, are based on datasets retrieved from the ISMN. Further the ISMN should be acknowledged by name (International Soil Moisture Network - ISMN) and…

Thank you for your contribution. We added the first paper, in which you referred to the ISMN data, to the publication section on our website. For future work please make sure to acknowledge the ISMN by listing the official references as denoted on our website.
