We have recently conducted a detailed evaluation of the new SMAP radiometer soil moisture product over the United States and Europe by using ground-based observations. The FMI and RSMN soil moisture measurements which we used in our study are from ISMN. We appreciate Dr. Dorigo and other scientists for their great contribution to these valuable data and we hope more data especially those provided in near real time can be obtained from ISMN
